Developer-ClientID-SecretFor Paypal to recognize your website transactions it is necessary to create a ClientID and Secret on their Live system.

Homepage Dashboard |  | | | Click on Image to Expand it. | Log in to https://developer.paypal.com/ (you may need to create a separate login)
This will bring you to Paypal's developer homepage.
If you do not see the image at right try to directly input the URL: https://developer.paypal.com/dashboard/
Click on Apps and Credentials.
Alternate method: Log into your regular business account and click Developers link at the bottom of the page.
You should then see Go to Dashboard in the blue bar at top, click and choose Developer Dashboard from the drop-down list.
Click on Apps and Credentials. |
Switch from Sandbox to Live |  | | | Click on Image to Expand it. | Important:
Notice the red circle. Click on "Live". Live becomes the blue highlighted color. |
Create the App |  | | | Click on Images to Expand it. | Give the Application (app for short) a name of your choosing such as My Website App.
Then click Create App. |
API Credentials |  | | | Click on Image to Expand. | The resulting page shows you the ClientID (a long string of characters)
Click on the circled eye to display the Secret.
Carefully copy and paste both into separate emails and send them back to us. |
