Merak has 4 different interfaces for access to email systems.
1. Downloadable web interface remotes the main configuration panels that we use to administrate all aspects of Merak Mailserver including spam and virus controls.
2. Web Administration panels allow the company controller to add or remove email account, add aliases, reset passwords and more. Admin access
3. Original webmail interface. webmail original
4. New webmail interface. webmail new

The downloadable web interface is software that is downloaded from Merak mailserver and is intended for server wide access and control.
There are three levels of Merak Mailserver account:
Standard - the main type of account used by most users.
Domain Administrator - Access to accounts under your domain name customizale by access levels. Sub access levels include (User, Group, Mail Lists, List Server, Spam Queue, disable mailbox view)
Administrator - Complete access to server and all domain(s) accounts.
Accounts:
Users (email account users)
Groups (departemental access control)
Mailing Lists (lists of address supporting customized email, dead address removal and transmission rate control)
List Server (A more formal server list including standard request commands such as Join, Leave, Lists, Which, Review, Vacation)
Executables (passes email parameters to an executable command)
Remote Accounts (uses a scheduler to log into a 3rd party email account and forwards messages to a local acount)
Static Routes An alias to account forwarder.
Notifications Instant Messaging (IM)connection.
Catalogs List Server address access controls.
Groupware:
Share an account with "defined members" or "defined members and public".
Shared access controls include "View", "View & Modify" and "Full Control".
Any of the above account types can be "Shared".
A group email address such as support@.. can be shared so that a number of people can respond as support@ without having to separately check into another account.
Being able to apply "groups" to "groupware" allows for departemental share groups to be created such as enginerring, management, billing, sales, quality, production, etc.
Calendar
Share Calenders with friends or available as a "public" URL.
In Calendar can share "events", "notes" and "tasks" with "private", "shows as busy" and "public" view settings.
Virtual Host
Controls various configuration & security settings for defined virtual host access.
